Check-In & Check-Out
What time is check-in and check-out at The Guesthouse Vancouver?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you arrive early, luggage storage will be available.
Can I check in early or check out late?
Early check-in may be available for $15, subject to availability.
Late check-out is $20 per hour (maximum 3 hours, until 2:00 PM).
Can I extend my stay?
Yes — please visit the front desk before 11:00 AM on your check-out day to request an extension. Or, give us a call on

Deposits & Payment
Is there a security payment?
Yes, a $200 CAD damage deposit is held during your stay.
If you’re bringing a pet, there’s an additional $150 CAD deposit per pet.
What happens if I lose my key card?
There’s a $10 CAD replacement fee for misplaced key cards.

Do you offer luggage storage?
Yes — free luggage storage is available on the day of check-in and check-out.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Absolutely. Connect to “The Guesthouse Vancouver” using the password given to you.
Do you have a kitchen?
Yes! There’s a shared kitchen on the first floor where you can enjoy free tea and coffee. Please clean up after yourself and be considerate of other guests.

Do you offer breakfast?
No, we don’t offer breakfast on site. There are plenty of great cafés and breakfast spots nearby, and our front desk team is always happy to recommend local favourites. Keeping breakfast optional also helps us keep room rates affordable. If you’d rather make your own, we have a shared kitchen available, along with free tea and coffee.
Do you have laundry service?
We don’t offer laundry service on site, but there are laundromats close by. Our front desk team can point you to the nearest and most convenient options.

How often is my room cleaned?
Bins are emptied daily unless a “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed. If you’d like new towels or sheets, just let the front desk know — we’re happy to help.

Is reception open 24/7?
Yes, our friendly team is here around the clock to assist you.

Are visitors allowed?
Only registered guests are allowed inside the building for everyone’s safety and comfort.
What are the quiet hours?
Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No. We’re a 100% smoke-free property. A $200 CAD fee applies for noncompliance.
What if there’s a problem during my stay?
Let our front desk know anytime - we’ll do our best to resolve it quickly.
Pets
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, pets are welcome! We have dedicated pet rooms available. A $150 CAD deposit per pet will be held for your stay.

A nightly fee applies for up to two pets, with a weight limit of 60 pounds per pet.

Does The Guesthouse Vancouver have an elevator?
No. The Guesthouse is located in a historic building and rooms are accessed by stairs only. Guests who may have difficulty with stairs should contact us before booking so we can help choose the most suitable room.

There is no on-site parking, but several public parking garages are located nearby in downtown Vancouver.
